Corporate partner Jeanette Chan and legal intern Kayleigh Mak published the article "New Tort Liability Law in China," in the May edition of Asian Legal Business. The article discusses how, as of July 1, 2010, China will have a new, specific law to govern tort liability. The new Tort Liability Law will provide a general outline on the tort liability over wide-ranging matters, including data and environmental protections and product liability.
