GREEN INITIATIVE
The Paul, Weiss Green Initiative extends our existing energy-saving
efforts by setting specific goals to reduce the firm's overall
impact on the environment and our annual carbon footprint from
energy.
Steps in the initiative include:
- Upgrading lighting fixtures with energy-efficient
technology;
- Replacing personal computers with energy-efficient
laptops;
- Using more effective printing methods to reduce paper
consumption;
- Purchasing paper certified with a high level content of
postconsumer recycled paper; and
- Transitioning to the use of hybrid cars for our shuttle car
service.
We're also pleased to be a participating member and partner of
the ABA-EPA Law Office Climate Challenge, a joint program of the
American Bar Association and the Environmental Protection Agency
that encourages law offices to take simple, practical steps to
become better stewards of our environment.
