Litigation partners Susanna Buergel and Elizabeth Sacksteder have been selected by Crain’s New York Business for its “Notable Women in Law,” which celebrates talented female attorneys in the New York City metropolitan area. Susanna is recognized as a sought-after litigator for complex securities and financial services litigation and regulatory matters, as well as for her pro bono work supervising a team that helps transgender New Yorkers file petitions to change their names legally. Liz is recognized as a prolific litigator who has represented global banks in virtually every significant category of litigation and regulatory investigation arising out of the financial crisis, as well as for her involvement as an active member of the board of New York-based Legal Action Center.
