A partner in the Bankruptcy & Corporate Reorganization Department, Alice Belisle Eaton advises creditor and debtor clients in corporate reorganizations and bankruptcies, focusing on transactions arising in the context of out-of-court workouts, postpetition financings, asset sales and emergence transactions, including exit financings and related transactions.

Ms. Eaton has extensive experience representing many of Paul, Weiss’s hedge fund and alternate lender clients in leading and participating in financings of distressed companies, including the restructuring and financing of CIT Group and Interstate Bakeries (now known as Hostess Brands). Ms. Eaton also has significant experience representing companies undergoing reorganization, including her representation of AbitibiBowater and Tekni-Plex.

Ms. Eaton’s other notable bankruptcy matters include GGP/Rouse Companies, Interep National Radio, Landsource Communities Development, Mirant Corp., Collins & Aikman, Sunbeam Corp., Centennial Healthcare and Kmart Corp.
