On September 30, Paul, Weiss will host a CLE program called
"Back to School" Update: What Public Companies, Their Boards and Investors are Asking About. The program will address regulatory developments in the aftermath of the financial crisis that will have a significant impact on public companies and their boards. This year’s program will focus on developments that are shaping the landscape for public companies, investors and IPO candidates, including developments that will have far-reaching impact in the years to come.
Paul, Weiss partners and counsel will address developments in:
- Corporate governance proposals from Congress, the SEC and the securities exchanges
- Disclosure requirements regarding corporate governance, directors and executives
- The role and responsibility of the board for risk management
- Capital markets and investor activity
- SEC enforcement activity
