A partner in the Corporate Department and member of the Finance Group, Brad J. Finkelstein has experience with private equity-related corporate finance transactions, principally in connection with leveraged buyouts.

Mr. Finkelstein has represented private equity megafunds and their portfolio companies in first and second lien senior secured debt financings, high yield bridge financings, high yield note financings, and private mezzanine debt and preferred stock financings. Additionally, he represented private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies in general corporate matters, merger and acquisition transactions, investments and venture capital financings.

Mr. Finkelstein also has extensive experience in the purchase and financing of distressed debt portfolios and restructuring the balance sheets of overleveraged companies. He has frequently represented banks, hedge funds and other lenders in a variety of financings.

Mr. Finkelstein was a member of the Columbia University Business Law Review, and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
