On September 29, litigation partner Brad Karp and corporate and litigation partner Stephen Lamb will speak at Practising Law Institute's program on Securities Litigation & Enforcement in New York City. The event will cover issues affecting cases regarding the global financial crisis. Brad will participate on a panel titled "Today's Securities Litigation Frontier -- Plaintiff and Defense Perspectives," which will discuss topics such as the financial crisis and securities litigation, recent developments in pleading standards, the corporate scienter, applying Stoneridge and developments in auditor liability. Stephen will be addressing changes in Delaware law, as well as speaking on the "Corporate Governance Litigation" panel, discussing developments in merger litigation and updates on options cases.
