As counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Communications and Technology Group, Corinna Yu is based in the Hong Kong office. Her areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and foreign direct investments into China. Ms. Yu has represented major private equity funds in their investments in Asia, including in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Ms. Yu has also been particularly active in the telecommunications, media and technology ("TMT") sectors -- she has advised leading strategic and financial investors on transactions in these industries and also provides regulatory and general commercial advice on TMT issues.

Ms. Yu was named a leading lawyer in the IT, Media and Telecommunications sector by Asialaw's Leading Lawyer survey in 2008 and 2009. She was also identified by Chambers Asia Pacific 2011 as a leading up-and-coming individual for her private equity work.

Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Ms. Yu completed her legal training in London and worked with a City firm in London.

Ms Yu is fluent in Chinese.
