An associate in the Corporate Department, D. Branch Furtado focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and other transactional matters. Mr. Furtado has represented publicly traded and privately held companies, private equity firms, hedge funds and other financial investors. His industry experience includes transactions in media, entertainment, information technology, retail, financial services and other industry segments.

Mr. Furtado served as chief executive editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review and president of the Duke Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
