An associate in the Litigation Department, David Kessler focuses his practice on general litigation matters.
Mr. Kessler has also represented clients pro bono in New York state and federal court in both civil and criminal matters, and before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Kessler has written law review articles about criminal procedure, the use of video evidence during summary judgment, and several of the Supreme Court’s recent cases about arbitration. His article about the standard for identifying a seizure for purposes of the Fourth Amendment, published in the
Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology, has been cited by the Supreme Court of the State of Washington and the D.C. Circuit. Mr. Kessler has also been published in the
New York Law Journal. He currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard Law School Association and as a Vice-President of the Harvard Law School Association of New York.
