An associate in the Litigation Department, Geoffrey Chepiga has worked on a variety of litigation and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions litigation in Delaware Chancery Court, securities fraud litigation, SEC investigations of hedge funds, and real estate contract disputes. Mr. Chepiga also maintains a significant pro bono practice, including, at present, federal court litigation challenging New York State’s practice of placing and maintaining individuals with serious mental illnesses in substandard adult homes.
Mr. Chepiga is the co-author of “Ownership or Use? Civilian Property Interests in International Humanitarian Law,” which appeared in the 49th volume of
Harvard International Law Journal in 2008.
