Description of Program and Relief
School Meals
Arkansas School districts that have been closed due to COVID-19 are granted a waiver of the Food and Nutrition Services requirements and may continue to provide meals to children even when school is closed. Meals may be picked up and consumed offsite, to allow for social distancing due to COVID-19.

In effect from March 14, 2020 through the earlier of June 30, 2020 or the expiration of the federally declared public health emergency.
