Description of Program and Relief

Child Care for Essential Workers

In partnership with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL), the YMCA of Metro Atlanta is providing child care for essential workers, including medical professionals, law enforcement, grocery workers, and others who cannot work from home at this time.

This child care program is currently available at 6 locations: Covington Family YMCA, Cowart Family YMCA, East Lake Family YMCA, McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA, Summit Family YMCA, and Paulding YMCA. Additional drop-off/pick-up locations can be found here.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Childcare services are available for children ages 3-12. The cost is $40 per day per child. Care is available from 5:30 am to 8:00 pm.

Application Deadlines (If Applicable)

Registration for each day’s session closes at 6:00 pm the day before.
