Description of Program and Relief
Temporary Assistance for Families in Idaho (TAFI)
TAFI provides temporary cash assistance for families with kids to help pay for food, clothing, shelter, and other essentials. TAFI is a pre-existing program, but those affected by COVID-19 who are otherwise eligible may qualify.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
To receive TAFI cash assistance, one must complete the application process and meet certain eligibility requirements:

Must be a citizen or legal immigrant.

Must be a resident of the State of Idaho.

Household income must be less than the program income limits for household size.

Resources must not exceed the program resource limits.
The monthly income limits are as follows:
*Some income may be excluded based on your household circumstances.
