Description of Program and Relief
Supplemental Nutrition Program For Women, Infants, and Children (NJ WIC)
New Jersey’s Supplemental Nutrition Program For Women, Infants And Children (NJ WIC) is a public health nutrition program that provides wholesome food, nutrition education and community support for income eligible women who are pregnant and post-partum, infants and children up to five years old. In light of COVID-19, New Jersey WIC is allowing additional food items in anticipation of limited food selections related to recent events.

Program predates COVID-19 epidemic, expanded item selection available as of April 1, 2020, continuing indefinitely
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
Eligible participants are:
Pregnant women; breastfeeding mothers of infants up to 12 months old; mothers of infants up to 6 months old; infants and children up to 5 years old
Participants must live in New Jersey, and meet income guidelines
