J. Brian Hart Jr.
Associate
An associate in the litigation department, Brian Hart represents clients in complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations and criminal matters. Mr. Hart has significant experience representing companies and individuals in fraud, bribery, price-fixing and antitrust investigations brought by regulatory agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Hart has worked with clients in a broad range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals and high-tech manufacturing.

On a pro bono basis, he has successfully represented clients seeking asylum due to political persecution in their home countries. He also has coached the Georgetown Law Mock Trial Team at the National Trial Advocacy Competition (NTAC), held annually at Michigan State University. He remains very active with Street Law, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education about law, democracy and human rights. In that capacity, he teaches in DC high schools and organizes educational/mentoring programs for students at Paul, Weiss.
