Jacqueline P. Rubin
Partner
A partner in the Litigation Department, Jacqueline P. Rubin has worked on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including antitrust disputes, internal company investigations, regulatory enforcement, securities arbitrations, and class actions.

Significant representations include:
  • a medical device manufacturer in several antitrust cases, including competitor actions and direct and indirect purchaser class actions alleging monopolization, exclusive dealing and bundled discounts
  • a medical device manufacturer in False Claims Act litigation involving alleged violations of the Anti-Kickback Act
  • a CEO in connection with a grand jury investigation of a pharmaceutical company
  • the Audit and Finance Committee of the world’s largest provider of temporary employees, in a worldwide internal investigation into accounting issues
  • songwriters and publishers in rate-making proceedings to set fees for the reproduction, distribution and performance of musical compositions
  • SEC, DOJ and FTC investigations
  • lawyers and law firms in regulatory proceedings and civil litigations. 

Ms. Rubin also maintains an active pro bono practice. Her current pro bono representations include:
  • an action on behalf of a Nigerian woman who alleges she was lured by defendants to the United States on promises of employment, but was forced to work for years in slave-like conditions
  • a state habeas petition challenging a conviction of depraved indifference murder.
