Corporate partner Jeanette Chan and associate Catherine Ying published the article "New Regulations on Corporate Income Tax on Gains from Transfers of Equity Interest by Non Resident Enterprises," in the January edition of Asian Legal Business. The article summarizes the State Administration of Taxation's recent notice which attempts to strengthen regulation of corporate income tax on gains from transfers by non-tax resident enterprises of equity interest in tax resident enterprises.
