A partner in the Corporate Department, Kaye Naoko Yoshino has worked on a variety of corporate matters, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions, and has significant deal experience in the financial sector. She has been based in the firm's Tokyo office since September 2000.

Ms. Yoshino has worked on both public company and private company mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures and other forms of equity investments. Recent matters include the first tender offer for a Japanese REIT, the first triangular merger transaction in Japan involving a non-Japanese acquirer, and one of the first PIPES transactions by a private equity fund into a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company. In addition, Ms. Yoshino advises Japanese clients in outbound transactions.

Having been raised both in Japan and the United States, Ms. Yoshino is bilingual and at home in both cultures. She is registered as a gaikokuho jimu bengoshi in Japan.
