Paul, Weiss counsel Masashi Adachi recently participated as a panelist in a symposium titled "Use of Foreign Investment for the Revitalization of the Japanese Economy and Effective Regulatory System," held on February 6 in Tokyo, Japan. The purpose of the symposium was to discuss foreign investment in Japan, including regulations and issues surrounding it. As a panelist, Masashi highlighted his recent contribution to an interim report from a related study project regarding the use of foreign investment to enhance corporate value, which was published in November 2008 by The 21st Century Public Policy Institute in Japan.
