An associate in the Litigation Department, Neil Lieberman has worked on a variety of litigation and regulatory matters, including securities fraud litigation, ERISA litigation, bankruptcy litigation, SEC investigations of hedge funds and mutual funds, and commercial contract disputes. Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Mr. Lieberman was an accountant focusing on international taxation.
Mr. Lieberman served as submissions editor of the
Columbia Business Law Review and was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. While in law school, Mr. Lieberman served as a research assistant for Professors Gillian Metzger and Jeffrey Gordon.
Mr. Lieberman is the co-author of "Accountants' Liability: Regulatory Update," which appeared in
ALI-ABA: Litigation Issues in the Financial Crisis and author of "Justice Jackson in the Boardroom: A Proposal for Judicial Treatment of Shareholder-Approved Poison Pills," which appeared in the
Columbia Business Law Review.
