Paul, Weiss Achieves Settlement in Civil Rights Case
Paul, Weiss recently obtained a settlement for a pro bono client who was denied medical treatment and accommodations for a back injury while incarcerated at Sing Sing Correctional Facility. After negotiations with the New York Attorney General's Office, the government and multiple corrections employees agreed to pay the client a favorable settlement to settle his claims. The Paul, Weiss team included litigation partner Aidan Synnott, associates Joshua Andrix and Jennifer K. Vakiener; staff attorneys Harley Michah Haberman and Tanya L. Leach, and paralegals Lissette A. Duran and Monica Kelly.
