Paul, Weiss Awarded Community Development Project Ally for Justice Award

The Urban Justice Center has honored Paul, Weiss with its Community Development Project Ally for Justice Award for the firm's pro bono work with the CDP.  This award recognizes the firm for co-counseling with the Project on several lawsuits, assisting a number of Project partners obtain their 501(c)(3) status, and providing assistance on intellectual property and real estate matters.  The project also honored Paul, Weiss's extraordinary commitment to pro bono that has allowed the Project to increase the impact of its work protecting low-income individuals and supporting community-based organizations in New York City. In particular, the Award recognized Paul, Weiss's recent trial victory on behalf of one of its pro bono clients, a former restaurant employee.  The award was accepted on behalf of the firm by Aaron Delaney, who was lead counsel during the trial.
