Corporate counsel Hans-Günther Herrmann co-authored an article with partner Glenn Su of PRC firm Fangda Partners titled "Two Powerful Chinese Media Regulators Merge." The authors explain the implications for industry participants of the merger of the national press and broadcasting regulators in China to form the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (GAPPRFT) in March 2013. The article, which is available in English and Chinese, also provides an overview of the merger's goals and intended responsibilities of the newly merged entity.
