Corporate partners Christopher Cummings, Andrew Foley, Adam Givertz and Ted Maynard and litigation partners Susanna Buergel and Elizabeth Sacksteder participated in Paul, Weiss's annual seminar series, "Update on U.S. Legal Developments Affecting Canadian Companies," for Canadian clients, their Canadian counsel, investment bankers and other advisors. The seminars were held in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal on January 22 and 23 and February 6 and 11, respectively. Chris and Andrew discussed recent SEC enforcement and regulatory developments affecting Canadian companies; Adam and Ted discussed M&A, shareholder activism and corporate governance developments; and Susanna and Liz discussed the current U.S. regulatory and criminal enforcement environment.
