Litigation partners Walter Ricciardi, Moses Silverman, Joe Simons and Dan Toal spoke at the Organization for International Investment's Annual General Counsel Conference November 15-16 in Washington, D.C. Topics included litigation and antitrust issues relevant to U.S. subsidiaries of foreign corporations, the compliance challenges they face, international transactions and the merits of international arbitration. General counsels from several corporations, including Airbus North America, BAE Systems, BASF Corporation, Daimler Trucks North America, Novo Nordisk, Panasonic Corporation of North America, Thomson Reuters, Tyco International and Volkswagen Group of America, among others, participated. The conference was co-chaired by Bob Lupone of Siemens Corporation and Marla Persky of Boehringer-Ingelheim Corporation. Litigation partner Ken Gallo was on the planning committee.
