Affiliated Managers Group Completes Acquisition of Pantheon Ventures from Russell Investments
On June 30, our client Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (AMG) announced the completion of the acquisition of Pantheon Ventures, a leading global private fund-of-funds manager, from Russell Investments, a subsidiary of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. AMG purchased a majority equity interest while the Pantheon management team, who will continue to direct the firm's day-to-day operations, acquired the remaining equity interest.
