On October 10, The M&A Advisor recognized the
acquisition of Nortel's $4.5 billion patent portfolio by Rockstar
Bidco as its "M&A Deal of the Year" at its 4th Annual
International M&A Awards Gala. Paul, Weiss was lead adviser to
the consortium, which was comprised of Apple, Microsoft, Research
In Motion, Sony and Ericsson.
