Platform Specialty Products Closes Acquisition of Alent

Paul, Weiss client Platform Specialty Products Corporation, a global diversified specialty chemicals company, announced the completion of its acquisition of Alent plc. The final consideration included the issuance of approximately 18.4 million shares of Platform common stock and cash consideration of approximately $1.9 billion.
