Spectrum Brands Agrees to Acquire Tell Manufacturing

Paul, Weiss client Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc., a global and diversified consumer products company with market-leading brands, announced its Hardware and Home Improvement Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately owned Tell Manufacturing, Inc., a leading U.S. manufacturer and distributor of commercial doors, locks and hardware with annual revenues of nearly $40 million. Financial terms of the accretive, all-cash transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of October and is subject to the completion of customary closing conditions.
