General Atlantic to Take Minority Stake in Pague Menos Pharmacies

Empreendimentos Pague Menos SA, the third largest drugstore retail chain in Brazil, announced that Paul, Weiss client General Atlantic, a leading growth equity firm, has agreed to make a strategic growth investment of R$600 million in the company. Upon completion of the transaction, General Atlantic will hold a 17 percent stake in Pague Menos.
The Paul, Weiss team included corporate partners Mattew Abbott, Adam Givertz and Neil Goldman.
