An associate in the Litigation Department, Maia Usui specializes in complex commercial litigation matters. She represents clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services, investment management, technology and professional sports.

Maia’s litigation practice is informed by her prior experience as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.

Maia also has an active pro bono practice focused on domestic violence and family law issues.

While attending Harvard Law School, Maia was an articles editor for the Harvard Law Review. She clerked for the Honorable Ralph Gants, former chief justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
