A counsel in the Corporate Department, Patricia Vaz de Almeida is a member of the Capital Markets Group. Ms. Vaz de Almeida is resident in our New York office and focuses her practice on public mergers and acquisitions, as well as securities transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, high yield offerings and other equity and debt securities transactions.

While in the London office, Ms. Vaz de Almeida worked on cross-border capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, PIPEs offerings, debt offerings, rights issues, as well as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including going private transactions.

Ms. Vaz de Almeida worked as an intern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (Division of Corporation Finance) in 2006.

Ms. Vaz de Almeida is recommended in The Legal 500 UK for Equity capital markets. Ms. Vaz de Almeida is also an officer of the Securities Law Committee of the International Bar Association.
