Paul, Weiss Featured in New York Sun Article on El-Masri Case

Paul, Weiss was mentioned in the September 6 article, "New York Lawyers Urge Hearing of El-Masri Case," in The New York Sun. The article discusses the case of Khaled El-Masri, a Lebanese-born German citizen who was erroneously confused with alleged Al Qaeda terrorist, Khalid al-Masri and was detained and allegedly beaten and interrogated at an American facility in Afghanistan. Paul, Weiss and the Brennan Center filed an amicus brief on behalf of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York in support of a petition for certiorari seeking Supreme Court review of the lower courts' dismissal of the case on the ground that the case could not be litigated without disclosing state secrets that affect national security. The Paul, Weiss team on the brief included of counsel Sidney Rosdeitcher and associates Carmen Cheung, Aaron Delaney and Douglas Pravda.
