Litigation partner Roberta A. Kaplan participated in a panel titled, "Defense of Marriage Act Litigation: Strategy, Tactics & Theory." In addition to Robbie, other panel members included James Esseks of the ACLU, Robbie's co-counsel in the firm's representation of Edith Windsor in her federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of DOMA; Professor Kenji Yoshino, Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law at New York University School of Law; and Paul M.
