An associate in the Litigation Department, Warren Stramiello focuses on antitrust and patent litigation.
Mr. Stramiello has extensive professional experience in many areas of computer science including communications, cryptography, databases, networks, operating systems, security, software and steganography. He worked as a system and security administrator at the Georgia Tech Research Institute from 1999 through 2003, where he received a Department of Defense Secret-level clearance and was responsible for both system and network security, as well as for designing, building and maintaining cluster-based supercomputers. Throughout college and law school, Mr. Stramiello presented on practical aspects of steganography at several technology conferences.
Mr. Stramiello has represented major corporate clients in both antitrust, securities class actions, and in patent litigations involving mapping software, website software, mobile device software and heart valves.

- Edwards Lifesciences v. CoreValve, Inc. and Medtronic CoreValve, LLC, No. 08-091 (D. Del.) ($74 million jury verdict for client Edwards Lifesciences for infringement of transcatheter heart valve patent; infringement found to be willful); counterpart litigations in Germany and the U.K.
- Earthcomber, LLC v. Zagat Survey, LLC, No. 10-cv-1592 (N.D. Ill.) (patent infringement case involving method of location-based mobile services)
- WebMap Technologies v. City Accommodations Network et al., 2:09-CV-0343-DF (E.D. Tex.) (patent infringement case involving geographically referenced data)

Mr. Stramiello also maintains an active pro bono practice. His recent pro bono representations include:
- Representing a family sued by their former landlord for defamation after blogging about the conditions of the rental.
- Coaching and mentoring the Aviation High School Mock Trial and Moot Court teams.
- Helping a public housing resident maintain his housing eligibility.
Mr. Stramiello earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with highest honors. While at Georgia Tech, he coached and competed on the Georgia Tech Mock Trial Team, winning numerous outstanding attorney awards at both Regionals and Nationals, and was selected for the All-American Team at the 2003-2004 Mock Trial Nationals.
Mr. Stramiello received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He founded the UCLA Law School Mock Trial Team, was a managing editor of the
Law Review, a senior articles editor on the
Journal of Law and Technology, and won the first-year Moot Court competition.
Mr. Stramiello is a member of the Bar of the State of New York. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York.
