Building on its established presence as a major player in Delaware, Paul, Weiss opened an office in Wilmington, a city that is widely regarded as the seat of modern U.S. corporate law, in September 2009. Paul, Weiss’s Wilmington office focuses primarily on corporate litigation and counseling, which complements the firm’s full-service capabilities offered through its other offices in New York, Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Tokyo and Washington, D.C. The resident partner is former Vice Chancellor Stephen Lamb, who presided over some of the most important and precedent-setting matters of corporate law during his tenure in the Delaware Court of Chancery and who was well known in corporate litigation circles as a corporate and securities litigation lawyer in Wilmington prior to his appointment to the Court.
