On March 22, Paul, Weiss will host our seventh Women's Networking Event, which will feature guest speaker Judith Rodin, Ph.D. Ms. Rodin is currently the president of the Rockefeller Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting the well-being of humanity by working internationally to expand opportunities for poor and vulnerable people and to ensure that the benefits of globalization are shared more equitably. It is one of the nation's largest foundations. Most recently having served as president at the University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 2004, Ms. Rodin was the first woman named president of an Ivy league institution. She was previously the provost of Yale University, where she was on the faculty for 22 years.

Ms. Rodin has served on a number of leading nonprofit boards, as well as the boards of AMR Corporations, Citigroup and Comcast Corporation. She also served on President Clinton’s Committee of Advisors on Science and Technology.
