Taylor Morrison Acquires Pyatt Builders

Paul, Weiss advised leading national homebuilder and developer Taylor Morrison Communities, Inc., in its acquisition of Indiana-based Pyatt Builders, diversifying Taylor Morrison's geographic footprint into a healthy market supported by above-average employment growth and affordability. As part of the deal, Taylor Morrison purchased approximately 1,500 homebuilding lots from privately held Pyatt. Nearly 55% of the acquired lots are controlled via options and the transaction was funded with cash on hand. Financial terms were not disclosed.
