Paul, Weiss Adds Renowned Trial Lawyer and Strategist

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced today that David M. Bernick is joining the firm as a partner in its litigation department, resident in New York. Mr. Bernick's practice will focus on complex class actions, mass tort and product liability litigation, antitrust/competition litigation, and other high-profile trial and white collar defense work for major industrial, life sciences and technology companies around the world.

In a 35-year career in private practice, Mr. Bernick has delivered major trial victories and other significant results for ABB of Zurich, Abbott Laboratories, Apple, Babcock & Wilcox Company, Brown & Williamson, Dow Chemical Company, Dow Corning, National Lead and W.R. Grace & Co. (in arguably the biggest environmental criminal case ever), among many others. Mr. Bernick also served as general counsel of Philip Morris International.
