Roberto Gonzalez to Lead Institute of International Bankers Webinar on the CFPB Under Biden

Litigation partner Roberto Gonzalez will lead a webinar, “The CFPB Under the Biden Administration,” hosted by the Institute of International Bankers, where he will discuss what to expect from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under the new administration.

CFPB officials have already signaled a more aggressive approach to rulemaking, supervision and enforcement. Roberto will explore the CFPB’s anticipated agenda in the areas of COVID-19 relief, mortgage, open banking, fair lending, UDAAP and data security, drawing on his experience as former principal deputy general counsel at the agency, and in other senior legal positions in the federal government.

The webinar will be held virtually on April 29 at 2 p.m. ET.
