Description of Program and Relief

Suspension of Residential and Commercial Eviction Proceedings

Pursuant to an order by the Idaho Supreme Court, responding to coronavirus, courts will suspend all non-emergency eviction proceedings. According to the order, only drug-related eviction proceedings will be scheduled for a hearing. This suspension does not relieve any renter of its obligations for timely paying rent or complying with other terms of its lease.

This order does not stop evictions filed by landlords to be held at a later date.
