Description of Program and Relief

State Income Tax Deadline Extended to July 15, 2020

In line with the federal extension on income tax payments to July 15, 2020, the Maryland Comptroller announced that Maryland individuals and businesses will not be penalized or owe interest on late state tax payments so long as those payments are made by July 15, 2020. Taxpayers who take advantage of the federal extension to file their return will be automatically granted an extension on their Maryland state filings.
