Moratorium on Utility Shutoffs

All of New Jersey’s public electric, phone, cable, water and gas utilities have universally agreed to suspend service shutoffs indefinitely due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Despite the suspension of shutoffs, customers are not relieved of their payment obligations during this period.
