Description of Program and Relief

Albuquerque Community Foundation/United Way Emergency Action Fund for Non-Profit Organizations

The Albuquerque Community Foundation (“ACF”) and the United Way of Central New Mexico (“UWCNM”) have established a joint Emergency Action Fund. The Fund provides short-term funding to support operations of organizations providing emergency services and/or basic human needs for those most at-risk.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

To apply organizations must hold 501(c)3 nonprofit status from the IRS. Priority is given to organizations in the Greater Albuquerque Metro Area. Grants will range from $500-$5,000. Organizations with operating budgets below $500,000 will be more strongly considered for funding than organizations with larger operating budgets. All funding is unrestricted.
