Litigation partner Robert Atkins was named "Litigator of the Week" by The Am Law Litigation Daily following a landmark antitrust appellate ruling for Paul, Weiss client Becton Dickinson & Co. The Fifth Circuit's ruling on December 2 reversed and vacated an earlier $340 million verdict in a lawsuit by competitor, Retractable Technologies, Inc. In the article, Robert, who worked alongside litigation partners Jacqueline Rubin and William Michael, said of their winning strategy, "We had a long-range plan fro beginning to end, which was trial and appeal."
