Litigation partners Christopher Boehning and Daniel Toal's Federal E-discovery column appeared in the February 2 issue of the New York Law Journal. The article, "Judge Imposes Sanctions, Questions Limits on Authority," discusses the recent decision in CAT3 v. Black Lineage, in which Magistrate Judge James Francis provided the first thorough judicial interpretation of Rule 37(e) and offered his opinion on some controversial language concerning potential limits on judges' inherent power to sanction. E-discovery counsel Ross Gotler assisted in the preparation of this article.
