Litigation partners Lewis Clayton’s and Eric Stone’s latest intellectual property litigation column, “Recent Cases Address Scope of Copyright Protection for Pre-1972 Recordings,” appeared in the May 10 issue of the New York Law Journal. The authors discuss a series of recent lawsuits in New York, Florida and California that have brought increased focus on the existence and scope of state-law copyright protection for pre-1972 sound recordings.
