Martin Flumenbaum Honored at NYLPI’s Law & Society Award Luncheon

Litigation partner Martin Flumenbaum was honored at the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI)'s annual Law & Society Award Luncheon. Marty was recognized for his ongoing commitment to social justice and equality. NYLPI Executive Director McGregor Smyth commended the award recipients "[who] stand as formidable examples of why it is so important - especially now - to use the power of law to ensure dignity, equality, and justice for all New Yorkers." In his speech to the group of over 800 lawyers, Marty emphasized that, as lawyers, we have "a special duty" to provide "for the justice needs of the underprivileged and underrepresented." Marty was introduced at the Award ceremony by Firm Chair Brad Karp. The event took place on February 16 in New York City.
