David Fein Leads Conference on Tackling Wildlife Trafficking

Litigation special counsel David Fein organized and led a conference on “Combatting the Illegal Wildlife Trade in Southern Africa,” hosted by United for Wildlife in partnership with the Global Conservation Corps and the Greater Kruger Environmental Protection Foundation from March 13-14. The conference brought frontline conservation organizations, the private sector and South African and United States law enforcement together to discuss the challenges facing conservation efforts in the region and highlight best practices in investigating and prosecuting international organized crime syndicates. The conference concluded with a special preview screening of Rhino Man, an upcoming feature-length documentary about the field rangers who risk their lives to protect South Africa’s rhinos from being poached to extinction. David is vice chair of United for Wildlife.
